FUNDRAISING: PARTNERING WITH THE NFL ALUMNI CHAPTER OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA FOR THE 2008 THIRD ANNUAL "GRIDIRON GOLF CLASSIC"

The Junior League of Palm Springs Desert Communities is partnering with the NFL Alumni Chapter of Southern California by hosting a golf tournament. Part of the 2008 Gridiron Golf Classic proceeds benefited Safe House of the Desert & Caring for Kids. The event included a pairings party and silent at the world class La Quinta Resort. Those that joined us for food, beverage, & entertainment, had the opportunity to meet up close with the former NFL players! Our silent auction included fabulous sports memorabilia, golf & travel packages, and much more!

The 2008 Gridiron Golf Classic then continued on the beautiful greens of Trilogy Golf Club at La Quinta . Set at the base of the majestic Santa Rosa Mountains of Palm Desert, California, Trilogy Golf Club at La Quinta is a Gary Panks-design that insures challenge and reward for players of all skill levels. Trilogy Golf Club in La Quinta is also the former home of the LG Skins Game.
